Happy Solstice! We’re right in the thick of the holiday season (with the whoop-de-do and hickory dock) and all of the rich complexities of emotional experience that accompany this time of year. So in honour of all of that, Kaarina and I are bringing you a festive minisode about taking care of yourself at the holidays. And to get yourself into the festive mood, why don’t you check out this very special playlist I made for just this occasion?
Warning: it has made me cry every time I’ve listened to it.

The podcast theme song is “Mesh Shirt” by Mom Jeans off their album “Chub Rub.” Listen to the whole album here or learn more about them here. My theme song is “White Wine in the Sun” by Tim Minchin. Listen to it all here.
Hi Hannah,
I don’t use Twitter (not brave or interesting enough) so here seems as good a place as any to say that this podcast gives me life. As does Witch, Please. I want you to know that both have made me more excited and engaged in literature, culture and feminism than two (somewhat traumatic) attempts at University in the UK. I am deeply grateful and so excited for more brain food in 2018. ThankyouThankyouThankyou.
Stay awesome,
Lucy

just catching up on your podcast but I’d happily have holiday feelings all year round, so I love that I’m listening to your perfect playlist now. If I may add my suggestion: Sara Bareillis – Love is Christmas (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIODr_RWwEc).
Cue my misty eyes.
Love your podcasts. Keep doing what you’re doing.
