It’s time for Feelings 101, aka wow what a completely wild and difficult time to be a person who feels things, let’s talk about that. I’m exploring being okay with not being okay, taking a strange comfort in recognizing my own grief, and building feminist survival kits for a moment when survival is our main priority. Here are some links:
- The interview with David Kessler is called “That Discomfort You’re Feeling is Grief.”
- If you’re doing some SFA relistening, I recommend slowing down, getting into sourdough, and embracing laziness/eating the rich.
- You can find my tweet about academic workaholism and the many wonderful responses to it here.
- I don’t know if I have a whole podcast about the joys of Animal Crossing in me, but I recommend listening to this wonderful podcast discussion of how crucial this game will be to so many people.
The podcast theme song is “Mesh Shirt” by Mom Jeans off their album “Chub Rub.” Listen to the whole album here or learn more about them here. Follow me @hkpmcgregor and tweet about the podcast using #SecretFeministAgenda. Want to email me about your killjoy survival kit? Send it to secretfeministagenda(at)gmail(dot)com.
Secret Feminist Agenda is recorded and produced by Hannah McGregor on the traditional and unceded territories of the Squamish, Musqueam, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations.
